When a property containing playgrounds, parking spaces and existing classroom buildings sitting in a nice quiet residential area became available, St. Joseph Catholic Church and School saw the potential of this facility and decided to move their school program here. The existing buildings, including an auditorium/chapel, offices and classrooms, were in good shape. One building only required minor changes to accommodate the new program and to comply with new codes. A three story building required major interior overhaul and the addition of a new stair tower. The whole project revolved around making the most of the exciting facilities while keeping the low profile presence of the complex in the historic neighborhood.
